Sometimes
when I try
to save
Mom from
HERSELF
it just doesn't
WORK.
She's having
help taking down
and putting away
CHRISTMAS
this weekend-
SO GREAT!!
BUT...
she's so
DETERMINED
to
HOT GLUE
these bulbs
tightly onto
these trees
just so
they're
READY
to go for
next year.
The
PROBLEM,
as I see it,
is that the
BURN
SCARS
from last time
AREN'T
HEALED
YET!!
She says
she's prepared
this time,
REALLY??
Isn't just
HAVING
to have a
first aid pile
RIGHT THERE
on the table
EXACTLY
the
CLUE
that says
DON'T DO THIS!!
(Can NOONE hear me...
hello, are my lips moving?
I've got
Scully
watching out
on one side
and myself
watching from
the other side
so we can be
QUICK
about it
if we have to
CALL 9-1-1.
Well, noone
PROMISED
us our
new Mom
would be
PURRRfect
(and they sure
weren't wrong-MOL)

You either need to tell her to get a low temp glue gun or needle nose pliers. I have burnt my finger prints off, I swear, so I know the pain from creating something along with the sacrifice of flesh. I know the real reason you are both hanging out there- you like the smell of human BBQ!
ReplyDeleteHot glue guns are not my friend! Take it easy, there!
ReplyDeleteI have burned myself terribly with one of those guns. Keep a bowl of cold water close by, makes it cool faster, and also makes the glue peel off faster.
ReplyDeleteOh- I have scars that will last for life! Join the club! I hope you didn't burn your paws too bad, Ellie- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteBe careful mom!
ReplyDeleteOuch! I'd better stay away from that gun even though I have a little pink tree just like that my aunt made for me and its bulbs are loose too.
