SUPER FIXER

Today
it's me...
JADA
&
SCULLY'S
MOM...
ELLIE.....
their typist??
NOW
you got it!
I took over
since I'm
SO
DANG
PROUD
of myself
for fixing this
furnace problem.
 See those rusty
WATERMARKS
all over.
The condensation
house drips it's
moisture right
out under and
around the
furnace.
I've tried feeding
the hose around
toward the drain
and tried attaching
bucket to the
end of the hose-
NOTHING
WORKED.
Maybe I'm too anal
but I want to clean
and paint the
floor down there
and I needed it solved.
Off to my local
FLEET FARM
with a piece
of hose
I cut off to
be sure of the
size I needed.
Came home with
6' of clear hose,
(sorry forgot to take
picture of hose)
some good instruction
and the pieces above.
I got the
pieces attached
with the hose barb,
the band clamps on
over each connection
and tightened down,
and fed out behind
the furnace toward
the drain opening.
I cable-tied
(I LOVE
me a good
Cable-tie)
the hose to
the other drainage
hoses and then
all of them
 nice and neat
 and attached to
a floor pole
to hold them
in place..
Then I cable-tied
them all stacked together
over the drain opening.
(I'd show you that but
every time I'd move the
mat off from over the
drain Mr. Scully
would grab the rubber
drain screen and
run like hell)
Because of that
little thief I have
that 12# rubber
mat over it so
he can't take the
screen....
or drop a toy
down the drain
and plug it up.
(That's happened
twice-do you
know how far
down a drain
goes before
it turns??
Trust me,
it's a long ways,
hence the screen
and heavy mat).
So while it
may not be
PURRRfect...
it's neat, it's clean,
and I did it myself.
Differently Abled
my bum! ;-)
I am
WOMAN
hear me
ROAR!

  7. Woo hoo, Ellie! I'm impressed with your repair skills! Now, I know who to call when I have a problem! Too cute about Scully! The mat is a great idea! When we first moved in our house I would find the white tips from the door stops everywhere! Max, my cat from long ago, was stealing them! The joys of kitties!
