We said once
we'd surprise
you with all
Mom's animal
doo-a-ma-higees.
Here are a few of
these critters that
we are forced
to live with...
This one she calls
CHEF PIGGY
(well, DUH, Mom)
This cookie jar
she calls
HILDY HIPPO...
(and why are there
no good cookies
we might like in
the cookie jar???)
Her roosters
sit and
STARE
at us from
on top the
pastry center...
(really, their eyes
follow us ALL
over the kitchen-
SPOOKY)
This stone kitty's
name is
NANCY
cuz her friend,
Nancy, gave it
to Mom right
before she died
of cancer.
On Nancy's first
trip to London,
as a little girl
with her Mother,
Nancy bought
this kitty with
her own savings...
(Mom always smiles
but gets a little teary
when she holds Nancy)
And this little
orange and green
(her favorite colors of course)
marble owl
she calls
OLLIE...
(Really, there are
more but
ENOUGH ALREADY
for today...)
Let us end
by showing you her
ABSOLUTELY
POSITIVELY
most
PURRRfectly
loved and adored
critters...
ME, JADA
and
HIM, SCULLY!
<^"^>
Of cors she wikes u bestest, u's is warm and cuddly, and de rest is cold and stiff.

These are all fun, but wow, do I LOVE that rooster collection!!
ReplyDeleteI crack up every time you post pictures of your little stinkers! They look like rascals.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Ollie, the marble owl.
Is Diana doing any better? Praying for her.
xoxo.
You two are by far the cutest of mom's critters although I do like Nancy the cat. Nice story there.
ReplyDeleteNow, you know you two are her favorites! You're REAL.
ReplyDeleteThinking of Diana and praying for her daily and missing her.
You lost Mommy at PASTRY CENTER...what's that? Mommy has a terrible sweet tooth! We think the Ollie is cute!
ReplyDeleteAll of our prized treasures bring back memories, don't they! I sure do love that Hippo cookie jar! That is unique! Sweet hugs!
ReplyDeleteVery precious post/photos. You two kitties are adorable. Nancy's gift is very special indeed!
ReplyDeleteGeez, thought I had been here today. Old timers clicking in high gear. I love all your fun things. I really love the roosters, have a few myself.
ReplyDeleteThose cats are so pretty. Don't tell them, though.
LOVE Nancy and the bitter sweet story behind her.
