Baby it's cold outside...

WHEE DOGGIES...
(quaint expression Mom
uses sometimes-mol)
It is soooo
cold outside.
How cold
is it?
His outdoor
thermometer
says 30* but
it got too cold
and broke.
One tv channel
says 17* and
another says
18*-we're going
with the 18*.
We are sticking
our fingers and
paws in our
ears so we
don't hear that
WIND CHILL.
brrrrrr
Mom
EVEN TURNED
the heat up to
62* so you
KNOW
she's chilly.
This is why
we have 2-3
blankets out
on every piece
of furniture.
This one is
MY NEST
and
this one is
SCULLY'S NEST.
Mom
WIGGLES
herself in
below our
nests and
covers us
all up.
It's not
PURRRfect
but we keep
TOASTY.
Stay warm,
Jada <^"^>

  1. We have been having those cold nights here, too. I think you guys wearing your fur coat all the time would be ok. You need to laying on top of your mom to keep her warm, cuz she ain't got much fur! I am sleeping in a sweater and keep my socks on. I have lots of furry friends who come in and sleep on top of me, too.
    Stay warm there!

  5. Here is NW Wisconsin, it's cold from November through March and sometimes April. I love having little snuggly places for our kitty to sleep during the day. She has a favorite extremely plush blanket that she lies on in the sunshine on our bed (because I stole her windowseat to put the potted herbs from the garden.) :-((

  6. That is cold! We're supposed to get into the 70s in a day or two. Turning the heat UP to 62? My husband would die of frost. He doesn't understand that a house is supposed to be cold in the winter so I can wear sweaters for once. I even bought him some Mr. Rogers sweaters but he likes to dress like its July year round. Our animals still lie in nests in front of the gas logs.
