HOT BOG RECIPE

Mom was
out with
 Sid
(that's her
snowblower's
name,
yeeaahh...I think
the cold got
to her brain)
and she
came in
freezing her
YOU-KNOW-WHAT
off.
(I don't know WHAT
to heck she was talking about)
So she made
some
REALLY
GOOD
SMELLING
stuff to
warm up
and since
she made
it with
out sugar
we got a
taste off
her finger-

         YUMMY!

 Here's the recipe if you
want to try it.

HOT CRANBERRY BOG
3 C. BOILING WATER
2 C. CRANBERRY JUICE
1/2 C. ORANGE JUICE
1/4 C. SUGAR
(OR EQUAL AMT. NATURAL SWEETNER)
4 TEA BAGS
(CONSTANT COMMENT or other ORANGE PEKOE)

BRING WATER TO BOIL
IN LARGE HEAVIER POT.
PUT TEA BAGS IN BOILED
WATER AND STEEP FOR
6-7 MINS.
ADD JUICES.
AFTER STEEPING
FOR ANOTHER
7-10 MINS. REMOVE
TEA BAGS (squeeze out
into pot) AND
SERVE WHILE HOT.
GARNISH WITH
CRANBERRIES and/or
ORANGE SLICES.
Mom says she usually makes
a triple or more batch-can
cool it down and will keep
in a jar with tight lid in refer
for several days.
She uses real juices
with no-added
sugar.
She also uses
at least one of
the juices a
cranberry mix-
ie: cranberry raspberry
or whatever she can
find that sounds good.
Throwing in some
cinnamon sticks toward
the end is AWESOME!
Enjoy!

  1. Just put that on my list of things to try after I heal up from the surgery. Have to do a bland diet for awhile more and then watch out. I miss pizza! You do know what pizza is, don't you Jada?

  2. Maybe you cats can help me with a problem. I have a new cat (14 months old) She has been living with us for 1 week and is very happy and friendly. HOWEVER, she had bitten two sets of headphones and broken them. What is it with you cats and headphones?

  3. Sid must be quite the thing in the northern part of the USA, but he'd be a worthless whimp here.
